This carbide bit is designed for removing excess gel near the cuticle area after building the nail. Use it at speeds between 6,000 and 10,000 RPM, working from the stress point toward the sidewalls with the bit held parallel, then tilt the hand to use it at a 45-degree angle for more precise detailing around the cuticle. It can also be used to reduce the amount of gel at the apex or to slim the gel under the nail, helping to lift the shape when nails curve downward. If too much product accumulates at the tip, this conical bit is ideal for creating a straighter nail profile. Additionally, it can be used during maintenance to clean the natural nail from underneath.
