Sterilization bags make it much easier to keep your tools germ-free, ensuring they remain sterile for up to five years. Each bag is equipped with a sterilization indicator and has a convenient self-sealing closure.
How to use:
– Place the instrument to be sterilized inside the bag, then press out as much air as possible.
– Fold and seal the open edge at the line marked for sealing.
– Insert the sealed bag into the sterilizer, making sure it doesn’t touch the metal tray or other bags if using a steam sterilizer.
– These bags are suitable for steam sterilization at 250°F – 270°F (approximately 132°C) for up to 30 minutes, or in dry heat at temperatures up to 130°C for 30 minutes. Note that the material melts at 419°F (215°C). Always follow your sterilizer’s specific instructions, and remember that a change in the color indicator does not automatically mean sterilization was successful. Regular maintenance and calibration of the sterilizer is recommended.
– Let the bags cool inside the sterilizer for 5–10 minutes after the cycle is complete.
– To access the contents, tear open the sealed strip.
Important:
Never place wet instruments inside the pouches—moisture can cause the packaging to burn or explode. Avoid overlapping the bags during sterilization, as this may lead to melting.
Maximum sterilization temperature: 130°C.
Bag dimensions: 51 x 241 mm.
Sold in packs of 100.
