For a classic manicure, first apply a base coat of nail polish similar in color to the velvet. Once it dries, add a second coat. While the second coat is still wet, sprinkle the velvet powder directly from the container, using a fan brush or tweezers. Remove any excess powder with a brush, gently press the velvet onto the nail, and your velvet manicure is complete.

For UV manicures, sprinkle the velvet powder onto the final layer of UV gel (top coat) before curing under the lamp. Apply a thin layer of velvet to allow the UV light to fully cure the gel. After applying the velvet, cure the sealing gel in the UV lamp for two cycles.
