For a classic manicure, apply a coat of nail polish in a matching color. Let it dry, then follow with a second layer. While the second coat is still wet, gently sprinkle the nail velvet directly onto the nail using a fan brush or tweezers. Brush off any excess velvet and press lightly with the brush for a flawless finish.

For UV manicures, sprinkle the nail velvet onto the final layer of UV gel (before curing under the lamp). Apply a thin, even layer so that the UV rays can fully cure the gel. After applying the velvet, cure the sealing gel under the lamp twice for optimal results.
