Applying these pigments is quick and easy, and they air-dry in no time. Here’s how you can achieve a flawless, glossy finish:
1. Ensure the surface you’re working on has no tacky layer. If you use a chrome base or a glossy top coat (Diamond, Time To Shine, or Glossy Top Coat), apply the pigment directly on top for a beautiful mirror shine. Be mindful not to over-cure the layer—ideally, it should be cured for 15-30 seconds, but never more than 60 seconds. Over-curing can reduce adhesion.
2. Shake the bottle thoroughly to mix the contents well, then use the brush to cover the entire nail with pigment.
3. Allow it to dry naturally for about 60-90 seconds, or until the wet layer has completely evaporated. For deeper and more even coverage, repeat the application 2-3 times.
4. Once dry, gently rub the nail using a clean finger, pressing and moving in circular motions to enhance the glossy finish.
5. Carefully remove any excess pigment using a soft brush or a very gentle bristled brush to avoid scratching the shiny layer.
6. Before applying your final top coat, seal the free edge by filing gently and making sure no excess pigment remains at the tip. Use light strokes to avoid removing too much product.
7. Finish your manicure with a top coat for perfect sealing and an impressive final look.
To keep your pigments fresh and prevent them from drying out, store the bottle tightly closed, in a cool place.
