For a classic manicure, apply a coat of nail polish in a matching shade and wait until it dries. Then add a second layer of polish. While this coat is still wet, sprinkle the nail velvet directly from the container, using a fan brush or tweezers. Lightly press the velvet onto the nail and dust off any excess. Your velvet manicure is now ready.

For UV manicures, the nail velvet should be sprinkled onto the final layer of UV gel (finish) before curing under the UV lamp. Distribute the velvet in a thin layer to ensure the UV light can properly set the gel. Cure the sealing gel under the UV lamp twice after applying the velvet for the best results.
