For a traditional manicure, apply a base coat of nail polish in a matching shade and allow it to dry. Follow with a second coat, and while it’s still wet, sprinkle the nail velvet directly onto the nail using the container, a fan brush, or tweezers. Brush off any excess velvet and gently press down to set the effect — your velvet nails are now ready!

For UV manicures, sprinkle the nail velvet onto the final layer of UV gel (finish) before curing under the lamp. Make sure to use a thin layer so the UV light can penetrate and properly set the gel. After applying the velvet, cure the sealing gel twice under the UV lamp for best results.
