For traditional manicures, start by applying a coat of nail polish in a similar shade and allow it to dry. Then, add a second layer of the same color. While the second coat is still wet, sprinkle the nail velvet directly from the jar using a fan brush or tweezers. Gently remove the excess with a brush and press lightly to set the velvet in place for a perfect finish.

If you’re using UV gel, sprinkle the velvet onto the last layer of uncured gel (finish) before placing your nails under the UV lamp. Make sure to apply a thin layer so the UV light can fully cure the gel. After adding the velvet, cure the sealing gel under the UV lamp twice to ensure durability.
