When choosing Timeless Base for a structured gel manicure:
– Apply nail prep solutions beforehand (such as Nail Prep and Nail Bonder). Their low acidity improves the adherence of the base to the natural nail.
– For problematic nails, reinforce longevity by applying a thin layer of a clear base before using Timeless Base.
– Pay attention to building a proper apex; after curing, the base remains quite flexible. Correctly shaping the apex ensures lasting resilience. If only brushed on or not built up enough, there’s a risk of the nail breaking.
– For very thin nails prone to lifting at the corners over time, remove a bit of the natural nail from underneath using a specific drill bit for under refill at the end of the manicure.
