– For problematic nails, apply a thin layer of a clear base (like Gum Base or Rubber Base Clear) to improve strength and durability.
– Shape the correct apex; these bases are more flexible immediately after curing, so ensure proper apex building to avoid nail breakage.
– If working on thin nails that tend to lift at the edges over time, after finishing, use a special bit for under refill to file the natural nail as necessary.
