– Start by applying preparation solutions like Nail Prep and Nail Bonder. These bases, with their low acidity, help improve the bond between the product and the natural nail.
– For problematic nails, add a thin layer of a clear base like Gum Base or Rubber Base Clear for enhanced durability.
– Properly sculpt the apex – these bases are more flexible immediately after curing, so building a correct apex ensures durability. Applying only a thin brush layer or skipping the apex can lead to breakage.
– With very thin nails that tend to separate at the edges, you can file underneath the natural nail at the end of the manicure using a special bit for under refills.
