For a classic manicure, start by applying a base coat of nail polish in a matching shade. Once dry, add a second coat. While the second layer is still wet, sprinkle the velvet powder directly onto the nail using a fan brush or tweezers. Gently tap off any excess powder and pat the velvet down with a brush to set it in place—your velvet manicure is ready.

For UV gel manicures, apply the velvet into the final layer of UV gel (finish) before curing under the UV lamp. Make sure to sprinkle the velvet evenly in a thin layer to allow the UV light to cure the gel properly. After applying the velvet, cure the sealing gel under the UV lamp twice for best results.
