– Always begin with preparation solutions such as Nail Prep and Nail Bonder. These low-acidity bases will help you achieve superior adhesion to the natural nail.
– If you’re working with problematic nails, add an extra layer of a clear base (like Gum Base or Rubber Base Clear) for increased durability.
– Shape the apex correctly—right after curing, these bases are more flexible. Proper apex modeling is crucial to ensure long-lasting nails. Skipping this or using only a thin brush-on layer may increase the risk of breakage.
– For extremely thin nails that tend to lift at the edges, finish the manicure by carefully removing the natural nail underneath using a specific under-refill bit.
