For traditional manicures, start by applying a coat of nail polish in a matching shade. Allow it to dry, then add a second layer. While the second coat is still wet, sprinkle the velvet powder directly from the jar using a fan brush or tweezers. Brush off any excess and gently press the velvet with the brush to create the final look.

For UV gel manicures, the velvet is sprinkled onto the last layer of UV gel (top coat) before curing under the lamp. Use a thin layer so the UV light can penetrate and cure the gel properly. To finish, cure the sealing gel twice in the UV lamp after applying the velvet.
