For classic manicures, apply a base coat of nail polish in a similar shade, let it dry, then add a second coat. Before the second layer dries, sprinkle the nail velvet directly from the container, using a fan brush or tweezers. Gently remove any excess with the brush and lightly press the velvet in place for a perfect finish.

For UV manicures, apply the nail velvet to the final coat of wet UV gel (finish layer) before curing under the UV lamp. Sprinkle a thin layer of velvet so the UV rays can properly cure the gel. Once the velvet is applied, cure the sealing gel in the UV lamp twice for optimal results.
