– Begin with nail prep solutions such as Nail Prep and Nail Bonder to enhance adherence, particularly since these bases are low in acidity.
– If the nails are problematic, you can add an extra layer of clear base (such as Gum Base or Rubber Base Clear) for additional strength.
– Take care to sculpt the apex correctly; right after curing, the base remains quite flexible. Proper apex shaping is essential to avoid the risk of nails breaking, especially if only a thin or insufficient apex is created.
– For very thin nails prone to lifting at the corners, use a special bit and under refill technique to remove the natural nail after finishing the manicure.
