For classic manicures, start with a base coat of nail polish in a matching shade. Once the first layer dries, add a second coat. While the polish is still wet, sprinkle the velvet directly onto the nail using the included brush or tweezers. Remove any excess with a brush, gently press the velvet into the polish, and your velvet manicure is ready.

For UV manicures, dust the velvet onto the last layer of UV gel (the finish layer) before curing it under the lamp. It’s important to apply a thin layer so the UV light can set the gel properly. Once the velvet is applied, cure under the lamp twice for a perfect finish.
